Stabilized Sawmill Blanks - Multiple Colors!

These are some really cool blanks made from Large Chip Amish Sawmill Dust. We mold, dye and stabilize them. Blanks measure 13/16" to 7/8" across and 5-1/4" to 5-3/4" in length. These are really popular and it takes us about a week to make a batch of a single color. Colors choices will come and go in the dropdown below as colors become available and are sold out. There are a few pores in these blanks below the surface and will require some filling with medium or thick CA glue. Just like turning a nice burl or hybrid blank, some effort is required on the turners part. The blanks are very stable and can be turned with almost any tool. We still recommend using a skew for best results.
